Insta Friday: Green Juice+ Biking Riding + Anthro + Snuggling Sisters...

Saturday, January 28, 2012

January has been a BUSY month. I was not prepared for this craziness, at all. Seriously, I was planning to be bored. To dive into some DIY projects I had pinned on Pinterest. I wanted to repaint a few rooms in the house. Recover 3 chairs. Transition Magnolia into a big girl bed + potty train her. Yup, none of that has happened. This week I am sharing my week in photos and linking up with Jeannett with Life Rearranged...
life rearranged

I made twin girls vintage rosette corsage tees. I LOVE how they
turned out in heather gray, cream, pink, and black. Their momma wanted
their names and age on the fabric flags. I couldn't resist adding a little lace, too!
And how cute are their names...Vivi + Gigi? Sooooo cute!

Went to grab a juice for breakfast one day this week. We have a local juice place
that is fantastic. I even did a cleanse with their 'Love Cleanse' juice for 2 weeks.
Lots of green. My friends claimed my hair was thicker, shinier, and my skin glowed.
Makes me want to drink a little green every week!

Paisley went to a birthday party at Build A Bear. We came home
with a pink pajama clad bear to add to our already gigantic
stuffed animal collection. I think it is time to go through it once
more and donate some friends that aren't being played with much these days...

Paisley is almost FIVE! I cannot believe my baby girl is getting
to be such a BIG Girl. The hubbs decided it was time to get her in action and
take her training wheels off her bike. He has dedicated himself to the cause and
is taking P bike riding about 5 days a week. She LOVES it but tends to get
a bit frustrated when things don't go her way...

My mother in law celebrated her 2 year anniversary with her boyfriend.
He gave her these gorgeous roses and she shared them with us! My gals
love fresh flowers and so do I. Such a simple pleasure...

I made an Oh Dear! winter tee for a lil' gal with a hot
pink felt bow and a vintage button. I had the hardest time
trying to figure out the bow placement. Oh well...

Jen asked me to tag a long with her and her sis to Anthro. I could NOT
resist this invite. I hadn't been in a few months and savored every quiet, yummy moment in my fave store. I shopped for my dear friend C, who had a birthday this week. I even grabbed a sweater for myself, and few new little bowls for the kitchen. There's just something so fun about new bowls + glasses. I have way too many but can't stop buying them!

The gals are obsessed with glitter. Magnolia asks to do glitter EVERY day!
I can't refuse but try to spread out the glitter projects to 2-3 times a week.
It literally looks as if Tinkerbell sprinkled Pixie Dust all over our hardwood floors downstairs.
Too bad the dog won't lick it up...

I caught the girlies in the sweetest moment. It was close to bath + bedtime.
I was cleaning up in the kitchen. They were so quiet. I didn't know what was going on.
Ah, there they were snuggled up together on the rocker reading books.
Seriously, I melted. They NEVER do this. The teacher in me was tickled. The momma in
me was more in love with these 2 little souls. Yes, I am so blessed. In the sweet, quiet moments. And in the crazy moments, too...

Happy Weekend Y'all...

Wishing you time to enjoy the sweet, quiet moments and the crazy ones too!

xxoo,

Melissa
